The nose has a nice, dry, oaky note with a touch of lemon rind. The palate has caramel and oak then moving into red wine notes; it's a bit diluted tasting. It has a nice milk chocolate finish.
Was just enjoying a glass of this (February 2018) and went to see what my notes on it were... and I don't have any. Which is weird because this has been my go-to bourbon since it was released. I really, really enjoy it. Just a solid bourbony bourbon that hits exactly the spot I need. A noticeable black cherry thing going on in addition to all the standard vanilla-caramel-apples stuff.
