n: Lemon drops

p: Orange rind, honey, hint of pot roast. Semisweet. Nice finish with cherry pie filling. Quite delish.

Comparison to HP Current and Sloped: 2nd favorite of the last 3 releases. Still a lot of old school HP sherry in there .

Dan

Deep golden amber color. The nose is spicy with oak, slight sweet caramel, sguar, sherry, maple syrup (a lot). The palate is not as complex but is rich. Sicy and slightly bitter with oak and caramel. A little bitter on the tongue. Decent finish. [10/13/13]

Fuji

Caramel, raisin, clove, mineralic, graphite, and apricot. Smells of sweet wine and cognac.

Peat smoke and flambé pears on entry. Black pepper spice mid palate and bitter black grape skin.

Finishes with smoke and herbal damp earthy stuff. Medium length.
