Nose: Strong sandalwood rye notes, then strong leather, like when you walk into a saddle shop. Palate: Sweet honey, rye, an earthy somewhat bitter note similar to Cognac rancio Finish: spicy and earthy
Woah, the palate's not what I expected. There's a lot more than the nose advertised, and it's different than the commercial. A blast of full-flavored, deep, soul-coating goodness. Earthy, chewy, and complex... yet it brings me back quickly for more.
This has the exact quality that's really brought me to love some extremely old dusties.
