LAWS Hangover Cure
Distilled 1917 Bottled 1932 Midway Distillery Co., #9 7th District KY
Bottled by George T. Stagg Co, Inc, Frankfort KY
Nose: Rich and caramelly, wood and rye spice. Palate: Big spicy rye notes, sandlewood. Finish: medicinal and a bit of a dirty/sandy note.
The finish is a let down but the nose and palate are strong enough to make up for it.
n: Sweetened bourbon
p: Very smooth. Light leather.
N: Birthday cake, delicate and "smooth" smelling, if that's possible.
P: Hot cherry candy - cherry flavored Hot Tamales. Forceful and sugary. Very thick mouth feel.
F: Those Hot Tamales just got real hot! But that cherriness I like continues, which I welcome. More birthday vanilla from the nose washes over.
This was my favorite of the night. I could drink this too often (as they did in 1932. Extra points (but not really) for a very cool and unique bottle.
