Member Ratings and Notes

The nose on this is trademark Karuizawa - sherry and sulphur. The palate is medium sweet sherry, a touch of sulphur that gives it an earthy quality which trails off into the finish which is sherry with light smoke.

Maybe not as complex as some of the single barrels, but amazingly drinkable.

n: If antique furniture and Christmas spice could be made into sugar plums, it would smell like this.  One of the best I've ever tried.  A+

p:  Crispy bacon fat and black cherry. Gunpowder and potpouri. Stunningly delicious with only the finish lacking.
