In 2007, Buffalo Trace moved the 2005 juice that was put into stainless into 3 smaller tanks. As of time of this writing (Summer 2013) it still resides there for all new releases. Rumor has it by 2014 or 2015 they will be switching over to new distillate.
Member Ratings and Notes
Waves of distinctly alternating flavors with a strong rye presence in exactly the right amount.  A stellar example.  B+/A-
Yum.   Freakin' Tasty.  This is really done perfect.  The rye content is just high enough and the proof just low enough for full enjoyment of this complex rye.   I will be purchasing every release of this from now on.
This is a mild rye.  Very smooth.  The wood is not as prominent, but a nice orange blossom flavor.  Very drinkable.  Not what I think of in rye, but it is a rather old rye.  Very refined.

n: Vanilla and horse saddle.

p:  Hmm, wood stain and tree bark.  There's an early flash of menengue that disappears into nasty too fast.

I'm not a fan.  I can't help but compare it to the rest of its family: Thomas Handy, William Larue Weller, and George T Stagg.  Those are awesome, this is not.  I've done that lineup MANY times, and this is always the bottle that fails to please.  It's maybe a shade better than the Eagle Rare.
