Member Ratings and Notes

Nose: Blueberry and licorice, nice

Palate:  Salty and sweet oatmeal. peppercorns.  Finish is decent but indistinct.  Solid

N: candied tropical fruit, lychee, honey, sea salt, bubblegum, fresh cupcakes with icing
P: minty, peaches, strawberries, tart
F: salty, astringent, dark roasted coffee

A medium yellow dram that has a great nose of bubblegum, coconut that is both sweet and spicy. Spices and oaky on the tongue to me. A tad bitter down the stretch. Unique and interesting. B+/A- [4/19/13]

Retaste: I am going to officialy bump this up to an A- in my book. I got a little more in the way of tropical fruits (pineapple, orange) and some tart notes (on the nose). Also got a ton of peach and apricot on the nose. The palate had more tropical fruits also this time and wasn't as spicy. Didn't get the bitter notes from last time. [10/16/13]
