Labeled as "The Original Micro Bourbon", this brand was apparently a one-time production in the early 90's to try to start something similar to the micro-brew trend occurring with beer.
N: Light and solventy. P: A general sweetness with a hint of rye fades into... F: ...a little butterscotch and then a dry woodiness (toothpicks). Drinkable, sweet, and just ok.
Nose has very light caramel and peanuts, with a tinge of nutmeg. Palate is a lighter and moderately-sweet apple-vanilla-honey deal, with some caramel. This gets a little bit boozy in the finish, particularly in the very end, but I still like it. It's a nice bourbon, and seems like it would especially please the casual on-the-rocks bourbon drinker.
