N: An initial crisp note of cinnamon and spice but then flattens to a nectary sweetness.
P: Earthy and rich, with intense spice (nutmeg, cinnamon).
F: The finish is a bit rough, with a wave of raw wheat followed by tiny wisp of soap, which fortunately is drowned out by returning spice.

Nose of raisin-wheat-bread, pumpernickel -- a "dark" smell.  Some syrup.  Palate is full of deep, bourbony goodness.  Finish is long, with rolling waves of yum.  There's a tinge of soap occasionally, but I'm gonna ignore it because I like the rest so much.  Very drinkable bourbon, but not because of any "lightness."  It's "smooth" yet rich.  B+/A-
