Blanton's Single Barrel
Added on Monday, Dec 1, 2008 at 10:17 PM
Being a single-barrel bourbon, each bottle is labeled with a barreling date, barrel number, and other identifying information.
Member Ratings and Notes
Sweet and smooth, rather caramel-y with a trace of apples. The finish picks up with the flavor of actual wheat, along with a very faint background of spice. Tasty. B/B+
"Dumped" on 11-24-04 from Barrel No. 78, stored in Warehouse H on Rick No. 3.
N: Rich nose, cinnamon, some wood in the background.
P: Massive cherry cough drop flavor and then...
F: ...cinnamon in the finish but it comes with a lot of wood.
A very good bourbon but a little too woody in spots.
Tasted at a bacon bacon event, so I won't bother with notes. C+/B+ though.
