The nose is inviting, with strong vanilla.  Lesser scents of something sweet (honey-ish) and oatmeal (like dry Quaker Oats) -- and a slight tinge of paint thinner.  The palate is tasty.  Cinnamon notes and the Quaker Oats thing is noticeable in the background.  The finish is kind of hot, and continues the previous flavors at medium-long length.  I like it enough to say I like it.

N: Vanilla, but overpowered with wood.
P: Too much wood for me.
F: Astringent.

Much sweeter with darker fruity notes and drinkable.  Much better than the 1608.  I like the sherry influence with the sweeter Irish blend.

Nose:  Nice malty notes with some white wine
Palate:  Malt forward with a slight graininess in the background.
Finish:  Wet grass.

A nice, straightforward malty number.  I'm guessing this would be great at cask strength.

n: oatmeal with vanilla soy milk, and dark dried fruit. Orange peel, alcohol, oak.

t: follows the nose, with more grain/cereal notes and light all-spice. Grass, red berries, and alcohol in the middle. Heavy artificial caramel coffee sweetner in finish. Overall the thin body is a detractor.
