Cloyingly sweet and slightly farty. It's like a glass of Mrs. Butterworth's, but not in the best of ways. A good helping of maple syrup, then pomegranate. And I just can't drink a lot of it. I don't hate it, and it's not bad... it's good whisky and worth a taste... but this is why I don't like most PX-heavy malts. If I want PX Sherry in this heavy of a dose, I'd rather just have some actual PX. But I've seen some social media folks going crazy for this lately, so to each their own.

n:  Sugar plums, nice.

p:  Hits fast and hard and is briefly sweet with dark fruit candy, then starts toward foul in the midpalate but doesn't get there.  I wouldn't call this an great whisky but it is different, I'll give it that.

n: black prunes.

t: black prunes.

Sticky sweet, over torched sugar on crème brûlée, with a hint of sulphur. PX that has a port-funk quality that really takes over all the flavors. Unique, but this is not my thing...   [C+/C]
