Formerly known as Alba Reserve, Glenrothes Bourbon Cask Reserve is something of a departure for the distillery - where normally a large proportion of European sherry oak is used in their assemblages, this expression is comprised entirely of ex-bourbon American Oak, and is certified kosher by Rabbi Padwa of the London Beth Din.

n: inviting vanilla and honeysuckle. Quite floral and sweet with graham crackers and new paper smell. 

t: vanilla and clove spice, the oak shows well in this. The honeysuckle from the nose really takes hold in the middle. Nice balance of malt and sweetness with a dry almond and dark clover honeycomb finish.
