New release for 2017:

Baked apple pie (burnt crust), marzipan, and salted caramel. Dried green apple rings and oaked vanilla in finish. Less of a viscous mouthfeel and less complexity compared to the previous release.  [C+/C]

 

 

Previous release of Jura Origins 10 year 43%

Baked green apple with cinnamon. Oily smoked note. Raw bread dough, hint of himilayan sea salt, and dried peach in finish.  B- 
 
note: older bottle shape and label were better in previous release.
