Ries

n: oak, dark honeycomb, rich buttercrackers, and fresh gingerbread. Ripe purple plum and cookie dough in the plastic tube.

t: dense and full-bodied (great ABV!); baked green apple with cinnamon and marshmallows in the core. This has a malty backbone with orange gummy candy sweetness and warm spice. The finish is full of clover honey, spiced malt (chai tea latte), and a tannic oak infusion. This is a nice, solid whisky, but nothing to stay memorable.  [B.]
