Woody! Sweet/rich. Yum! Fantastic.
AS

Deep auburn color, almost opaque, very strong alcohol and wood in the nose. Deep, full woody flavors (sherry or port) but not smokey. Very rich, lingering finish. Great overall.

Every once in a while a sherry monster comes along that has immense sherry but isn't overly sweet, dry and bitter, or blighted by old age woodiness.  This is one of them.  Real nice stuff.

boozy, sherry/fruit, honey nose, taste - caramel, blackberry/medicinal, syrupy, finish - smooth, a bit woody, very, very long, overall - likely cask strength, improves with a splash of water. Excellent!
GL

Sherry nose. Cask strength, medicinal, good finish, not peaty. I’m a fan. Really good. Think of sipping by fire at the end of the night.
JC

Bold and medicinal.  Syrupy, mapley, but not maple syrupy.
JH

Cough syrup consistency. Syrupy. Sweet. Caramel. Dessert scotch. Make a cake with this scotch. Candy store.
JS

Sherry, port nose; taste is caramel, strong; finish is full and woody; fantastic all around.
PD

Overwhelming nose, blackberry nose, maple, woody.
Andy

A quick smack of sherried mollassas that lasts for one second then changes at breakneck speed to a disappearing bathwater ruining the experience.  Keep drinking it fast!

Okay, I was a bit hard on it.  This is good shit, not the best ever, but definitely not a B.  B+/A- on this one.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to try this again, formally.

I had this after everyone else at LAWS raved about it.  How could it live up?  Well, it exceeded the raving. WOW! Nose is sweet cinnamon rolls, Hubba Bubba, complex.  I can't describe it all. Palate: wow! Yummy. Rich toffee.  Sweet. Sweet. Sweet. Corn bread, maple syrup, rich and viscous, flourless chocolate cake, a little burnt banana bread. Finish: Yes!
Sku

Nose:  Dry sherry, prunes.

Palate:  Vanilla, Earl Grey, prune juice then canned fruit.  Water brings out the sweetness.

Finish: Chewy sherry notes.

Really well done.

Fuji

N: Waxy sherry, stewed red fruits, honey and spice

P: Spiced sherry with oakd and dark chocolate

F: Long finish of ripe cherries

Best bottle of the night.  More please!
