Rundlets and Kilderkins are the very small barrels (60 and 80 liters respectively) which this whisky was aged in.

Distilled November 2001     Bottled January 2012 

Rich malty nose with some apples and grape juice, then peat. The palate is malty with a dash of fruity sweetness, almost like a slight bit of sherry influence (though I don't think there was any), and peat. Finish is dry and malty with a touch of smoke on the nose.

Very good stuff.

Bittersweet.  Red peppers and corn oil.  Decent.
