Andy

n: Creme brulle. Wood finish

p: Sooty firewood and white pepper. Vibrant and oily. Quite tasty.

B/B+

Fuji

N: Heather, honeycomb, peanut oil with light peat smoke.
P: Delicate smoke on the palate with heather and a hint of lavender

F: Peat on the finish.

Ries

n: smoke, new cardboard box, toasted wheat bagel. Very light peat influence and very typical Balvenie.

t: butter biscuits, overall gentle sweetness, with a hint of soft peat just towards the finish. This is a solid, fun Balvenie to try, but nothing to get excited about (especially for the Islay influence).

I don't understand how this is different than "tablespooned" whisky (i.e. not "single malt"). Surely there was more than a tablespoon's worth of another distillery in this barrel...
