n:  sea salt and leather saddle bag. Nice orange/citrus wax. Smoked heather and a hint of sweet pickle juice.

t: follows nose of smoked heather and sea salt. Orange citrus wax and doused paper ash in the middle. Real cohesive and subtle Talisker with a nice balance between maritime flavours, floral elements, and a waxy smoke.

N:  Lemon meringue, citrus zest, bits of ash and peppery smoke alongside have notes of iodine and tar.  There is some sweetness by vanilla powder and tropical fruit but it’s overpowered by the sour stuff. 

P: Dark and dank.  Brings up images of dead mossy wood floating in a swamp.  Iodine and burnt soy sauce with citrus and white pepper emerging mid-palate. 

F: Lasting bitter finish of smoke and flowers.

n:  spearmint syrup on firewood. Hint of potpouri.  Nice.

p: Lightly salted Christmas spices and mint.  Oily mouthfeel.
