Nose:  Big sherry with some sulfur

Palate: Sulfur dominates though some fruit gets through

Finish:  Raisins and matchsticks

Normally, I dislike big sulfur bombs, but this one had a enoug hblaance that I liked it.

Great livley sherry stuff here.  This was my favorite bottle from the blind meeting...beating out the Black Bowmore 1st edition.  This is just tasty. A-/B+

Red/black color. Very nice nose! Subtle red fruits and not overpowring. Lots and lots of fruit here. Just yummy. Not a long enough finish. I'm really intrigued by Tamnavulin after having had this. Almost could have been an A- from me. [Blind - 2/21/14]

Guesses: 45% (vs 46%); 22yr (vs 23); Glenlivet (vs Tamnavulin)

n: Eating toast in a pool

p: Burnt varnish

Ries

n: dark cherry chocolate, very delicious and heavily on sherry cask. Resin and wood varnish.

t: liquified wood, dark dried fruits and more varnish. Dry and tart in middle, finishes like licking a cherry lollipop with a cough drop in my mouth.

*short notes due "Blind" Meeting newb pressure.

my guess: 51% | 24yr | Glen Grant

[A-/A, almost A]
