Nose: Strong sandalwood rye notes, then strong leather, like when you walk into a saddle shop.
Palate: Sweet honey, rye, an earthy somewhat bitter note similar to Cognac rancio
Finish: spicy and earthy

Really nice stuff.

n:  Awsome and minty

p: Very sweet.  Mixture of different minty gums (hard to tell, but awesome).  Spanish cedar.  Great stuff.

Oh man, nice nose. Rye, paint, varnish, gooness.

Woah, the palate's not what I expected. There's a lot more than the nose advertised, and it's different than the commercial. A blast of full-flavored, deep, soul-coating goodness. Earthy, chewy, and complex... yet it brings me back quickly for more.

This has the exact quality that's really brought me to love some extremely old dusties.

A very huge and tasty rye.  We've tried a 12 year version of this and it's very similar, perhaps just slightly less punchy.

Dense rye notes that arent too spicy.  Old wood and lacquer.  This ranks up there with some of the best ryes I've tasted.
