N: A figgy, raisiny, and leathery presence upfront on the nose with an utterly sherry-drenched aroma. Very "sweet wine" body with grape skins. Very bold Lightly industrial underneath with some light diesel-smelling notes. A hint o indeterminate sourness.

P: Thick, leads with leather and has a sourness I can't place. Again, slightly tarry, smoky and industrial. Wine and sherry. A little flintiness.

F: Much more smoke on the finish, more tarry industrial notes. Figgy again, dries to slightly green woody notes. Traces of pepperment. Apples far off in the background.

I can't place the sourness but it doesn't quite sit right to me.

Nose: Typical oversherried Springer nose with prunes and sulphur.

Palate:  Sulphur and sherry with some King cherries in the background.

Finish:  mostly sulphur with some winey notes.

A fairly typical Springbank sulphur/sherry bomb. I'm very sensitive to sulphur notes, but this one has some strong fruit to make up for it.  For people who like this profile, they would probably consider it quite good.
