N: Sweet citrus (lemon and lime), almonds, candle wax.
P: Nice mouth feel, bright n' fruity, applesauce.
F: Salty, sweet n' sour sauce on my egg roll please.
The lingering flavor in the finish is excellent.

Lots of spirit initially. Citrus, wax and nutiness emerge as it sits.  Very aggressive on the palate with lots of green fruits, citrus, heather, and cinnamon.  Lingering finish is waxy and tangy.

The palate was nicer than the nose.  Lots of good flavors here.  Unfortunately it isnt balanced well.  The citrus tang is just too over powering.  I tried adding some water and the nose disappeared while there was just bitter wax on the palate.

n: lime wedge dipped in smoked sea salt and the usual cuperic Springbank nose. Good dose of heather, spiced pecans, burnt citrus peel, and green apple.

t: Initial is charred orchard fruits and brine; then moves to a toffee sweetness and leather. Constant cuperic note throughout with a strong dose of citrus and wood smoke. Finishes with a hint of lime on a salty tortilla chip. This is quite delicious and interesting in that it moves from one flavour to another rather quickly.

A nice specialty Springer that doesn't get far away from the typical distillery character but offers something unusual.  [B+]
