Nose of light sherry with a little varnished wood. Some brine.

Palate delivers on the nose, rich and oaky, just a hint sweet. It really gets exquisite in the finish, with peaks and valleys of assorted spices with a nice oak kiss goodbye.

This is just uber-drinkable while still packing lots of delicious flavors, I'd think anyone would love this.

n:  Average.  Wood sealant.  Very faint candy (watermelon jolly rancher.

p:  Roasted almonds and butterscotch.  I gave this an A-/A on my first tasting, but in a more controlled environment I wasn't as thrilled.  Little bitt of spanish cedar and indeterminate spice, somewhere between potpouri and cinnamon.   Nice body, malty finish.

B+/A-

The last one just sold out, so... guess this won't do you much good.

Tasted blind:

N: Oily, citrus tea sweetness, fresh baked bread, anise and heather

P: Citrus, apples and oak on the palate.  Very light body with a drying effect on the palate and tongue.

F: Cough drop like mentholated finish
