n: Faint pencil

 

p:  Pine, slightly oily.  Long finish.  B-

 

I've had this malt informally quite a few times and I've usually felt this was B+.

 

I'm going to average this out to a B.

Blind: Nose and palate match up nicely.  Lots of wood shaving / sawdust notes along with toasted malt and a fair bit of saltiness.  A sharp peppery finish to end things.
