Nose:  Rust (not in a bad way), briny rye notes.
Palate:  Caramel corn, Cognac, slight apple notes, a good dose of rye and then back to sweet.
Finish:  sweet vanilla then some spice.

Classic Heaven Hill flavors.  [Note:  Due to the age and bottling date, this bottle would have been distilled at the old Heaven Hill distillery, before the fire.]
