N:  Granola, honey, de la rosa candy.  One of the weirdest bourbon noses I've ever experienced.
P:  Peanut butter, sweet and sour pork, coffee and candy.  Water mellows the weird notes, but a nice richness remains.
F:  The sour notes stay on.

Ridiculously bizarre, but in a good way.  (I swear I didn't eat anything with peanuts before I tasted this stuff).  Lots of fun.

N: A virtual spice factory on the nose, with sharp rye spice but also something more herbal like sage (or a certain type of medicine which can be bought in California).
P: Big huge attack from the abv, following by quite nice combination of spice, wood resin, and savory sweetness.
P: Mainly on the wood, but in an enjoyable way.

Retaste: Yep, peanuts.

N: Slightly sweet with a bit of maple syrup; some light cherry and plum notes; wood and a bit of cinnamon. Slightly piney and resinous.

P: Light mouthfeel; warming; toffee and substantial maple syrup. Hints of orange and cinnamon; a bit of bubblegum. Cherry and vanilla and slight pine.

F: Drying quickly with the wood prominent; rich, creamy vanilla. Some light black cherry notes.

Unremarkable but enjoyable.
