Nose:  Delicate peat with background fruit, floral and hard candy notes.
Palate:  A peat blast with sweet notes throughout; sugar and spice in perfect balance.  Smoky candy.
Finish:  Peat, butterscotch and a drop of sweet wine.

Balanced and delicious.  A/A-

Ahh, that's a nice nose. Smokey, oily, honey, caramel, banana bread.

Ooh, that palate hits the spot. Definitely peated but not obnoxiously so, rich but not cloying. Finish is a little minty and herbacious, very lengthy, excellent. The mildly sweet fruity-honey stuff really plays well with the smoke.

One to get if you still can.

Whoa! Alcoholy. Sweet. Butter on cinnamon toast. Earthy peat, peppery finish.

N: Cinnamon/ cloves with sweet underlying sherry notes, dark berries, iodine, peanut oil, caramelized hazelnuts, young plums and young cherries

P: Clean crisp peat and smoke, sea salt, honey glazed peanuts, sweet cured meats, ripe strawberries and sherry

F: grapefruit peels covered in dark chocolate

I was expecting a lot after nosing this one. The palate really matched what I was getting on the nose.  Big fruits that worked well with the peat and smoke.  Sherry and Peat, how can you not love this?

A/A-

N: Iodine, seaweed (that brown stuff on the beach), smoked ham.

P: Smoke on top of light fruit, some gamey notes (like steak juices).
F: Nectary, smoke lingers.
Lots going on, but maybe a little to melded together, no flavor note jumps out at me that makes me really love it and boost it to A-.
