Nose:  Sweet caramel and toffee, some medicinal notes, cherry cough syrup.

Palate:  Much drier than expected, lots of wood, some rye, sort of dull and one-dimensional like there is something missing.

Finish:  Briny, almost salty with an off-putting quality.
