The nose is a huge rye bomb.  Palate is full of big rye flavors rolled up with a pure, rock candy sweetness.  It's got sugar, herbs, anise, the whole big rye package at a good, kick you in the teeth abv.  Water isn't good with this one though; it goes  syrupy sweet.  Drink it neat and it's great stuff!  B+/A-

N: BIG rye spice. Anise, cinnamon a hint of clove, and a light breadiness. Sweet with some oranges. Lightest imaginable influence of vanilla.

P: Plenty of heat with some balancing sweetness. Rye, cinnamon, anise, warms fast. A light molasses body, subtle vanilla, oranges, and gently sweet.

F: Rye spice on the finish, which leans slightly short. Warm with red hot candies.

Very much like Thomas Handy. GREAT palate, nice finish, great nose.
