Nose:  Very nice nose - rich, malty, very reminiscent of the current Clynelish.
Palate:  Malt and hay but a bit dull on the palate.

Starts strong on the nose, but the palate doesn't keep up with it.

Kinda sweet nose, cotton candy.

Palate is rather watery but still with flavor. Mild, generally malty and grassy stuff. Tangy spice in the finish. Compared to today's standard Clynelish expression (the 14), this is less interesting on the whole, though fine enough. Enjoyable in an historical sense.

N: A little solventy, nutty, lemon, wax, marshmallow.
P: Tangy, kinda middle of the road.  No peat, buttery.
F: Metallic, nutty.  Dry.
An interesting and unique profile, but overall a bit weak.

Meh.  Too much like Glenmorangie 10 (not a good thing)
