Great nose! Banana candy, pine, cedar shavings, caramel, vanilla, powdered donuts.

Oh, the palate delivers! This is a rounded but lively bourbon with oak balanced well against nice, sweet toffee, with fresh plums and peach notes. Then various dried fruits. Dries in the finish, with very lingering but restrained tannins. Yum!!

An excellent, energetic bourbon that does so many things right and nothing too much.  I hear it's sold out, otherwise this would be the Latest Must-Try. No more for any of us. Why did I wait so long to try this?  A-/A

PS: Water ruins, don't add.

Nose:  Very light, herbal and mint notes.

Flavor:  Very herbal and spicy – definitely some rye in there; this is a really unique flavor, not a lot of typical Bourbon notes; more like some of the micro distilled malts.  There is a savory, briny, earthy quality to it but some bitterness as well.  Lots of licorice on the finish, though it turns a bit bitter.

It’s a bit out of balance but has a really interesting flavor profile.
