N: Nutty and spicy oak, citrus.
P: Buttery and fruity.  Tasted blind, I thought this was maybe a well used refill sherry cask based on the spice and fruit.   Balancing sweetness.
F: Clean and tasty.
Very good.

Nose:  big on fruit with malty notes.

Palate:  light sherry taste (yes I know it's a Bourbon cask, but I tasted it blind and I got some sherry), not much substance.

Finish: short

Oooh. OOOH. Awesomeness. Citrusy, green, very minty (especially in the finish, garden mint) and refreshing. Somewhat dry, but not as much as the age would imply. Peppery, spice-cabinet-y. I'm glad the other guys don't like this as much as I do, because I will be hoarding this bottle at the next couple meetings.

A wonderful fruity nose with spicey crispness.  Pallate however is not more than a B.  Add water to get some sweeter fruits back but still weaker than the nose fortold.  A- nose and B pallate makes this a B+.

Nose: Rotten apple

Palate: Old oatmeal

Retaste 4/23/11:

Meh, still bit big on it.  Goes fast to a funky finish.  Still B-
