Sweetened oats, salt, margarine, rubber, iodine and awesome.

Smack you up side the head with, "Yeah, I'm Port Ellen and don't you wish there was more of me in the world?"

Very light color.

N: Sweet, light peat, more like cut grass than decayed brown stuff, bacon grease.  And that's all a compliment.

P: Lemon juice, almonds, water helps bring out the sweetness to balance the tart.  Not too complex, but what is there is so good.

F: Long, powerful.  I feel like I AM Port Ellen. Amazing stuff, but so strong I could not take it for too long. Still loved it.

Peaty but moldy.

I seemed to have missed what was so stellar about this one too.  It was to me a good but not great, somewhat sooty, moderately peated PE.

Awesome deliciousness.  Hugely drinkable, powdered-sugar peaty treat.  Great balance and never too much.

(Bottle drained before better notes possible. Please send more.)
