If you're new here, we're not exactly a blog -- you won't find any whimsical bourbon tales or single malt musings.  Well, maybe a couple.  But, our dedicated focus is whisky ratings and tasting notes. (Beyond that, it's Los Angeles bars, restaurants, and stores that specialize in whiskey).  To that end, we've custom-designed our Main Whiskey List to be incredibly user-friendly.  Play around, you'll like it!

With over 600 whiskies currently reviewed and rated, LAWS has quietly become the 2nd-biggest non-pro ratings site on the web (behind Malt Maniacs, who we love).  This site began as an easy way to database our whiskey club's meetings -- but as the site grew, and things like the iPhone became commonplace, we found the Main Whiskey List to be very helpful when deciding what whiskey to buy in a store, bar, or restaurant.  To that end, the only fully-filterable and completely-sortable whiskey ratings list on the web is about to get even better.  Stay tuned, we're revamping the whole site.
