Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottles, glass, cigar, and odd figurines, taken from their website. For our August tasting meeting, Andy selected five single cask, single malts from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (American branch).  The distilleries' identities were kept secret during tasting; however, participants were given the SMWS descriptions of all the bottles and challenged to match them up accordingly, along with a guess as to the region of origin.  AH won with a 100% score.

The featured bottles were a ClynelishGlen KeithDailuaineMacallan, and Laphroaig.  In general, they all rated well -- none were deemed exceptional, and none poor.  Most enjoyed were the Clynelish, Glen Keith, and Laphroaig, though opinions were divided.
