Wow, is this place GOOD. The tasting menu is just superb. What I like about it is that it's mainly traditional foods -- scallops, short ribs, so on -- served in a way you've never had them before. As there's plenty of info online about this place on the various foodie websites, I won't go into detail... just go.
The whiskey list is decent (for LA of course) and features some stuff you wouldn't expect, including Bowmore 16 and at least one Adelphi bottling when I was there last (a Caol Ila 21, which paired awesomely well with the thinly sliced scallops appetizer... which was also ridiculous, by the way). By the way guys, send the girls here for afternoon tea, it's a big hit I hear.
