Nose is sweet, and very nutty -- with caramel and toffee notes -- sort of like peanut brittle. Some tobacco too. Palate is medium-sweet, with nutty notes, caramel, vanilla, and apple hints. None of that is particularly strong, though, and overall it's a very slight palate. But that, I believe, is the whole point of Tennessee Whiskey, and this has achieved it well. Finish continues the theme, and is warming-to-hot. Gets a bit rough as the glass drains. Given the comparable price point, in the battle of Tennessee Whiskies, this is the sweeter, more-flavorful, and I would say better one... without "too much flavor" to deter the folks who come to this sort of whiskey in the first place. And I do personally enjoy it quite a bit!  That Bit-O-Honey, Honey-Nut-Cheerios thing really hits me nicely.

N: Ya can really smell the sugar maple charcoal, like maple syrup.
P: Spicy and sweet.  Quite delicious actually.  Wish I had found you sooner!  Clean rye in a sugar coating.
F: French toast with powdered sugar and syrup.
I'm really surprised here, blown away that such a great whiskey isn't more popular.

NOSE
Corn is prominent and sweet with notes of vanilla, candied citrus and butterscotch fudge coming through. Honey candy, simple syrup, dried orchard fruit, a touch of wood and rich, but not cloying, sweetness.

PALATE
Cinnamon moves in with corn, caramel and citrus in a foursome of flavor. Vanilla, wood and a touch of char, leather, that rich sweetness and some notes of grain, dried fruit and an ambiguous spice.

FINISH
Long and corn driven with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, leather, dried fruit and a bit of oak.

I really enjoy the honey dipped candy corn essence of the nose and the cavalcade of Cs that run across the palate. It’s something that is easy to sit and savor

n: standard bourbon nose, heavy on vanilla char and popcorn butter.

t: tastes like standard bourbon with a note of dry evergreen. A little flat but nice vanilla at the end. Toasted marshmallows.  [B-/C+]
