Nose of very gentle smoke and Band Aids. Palate is lightly smokey, moderate-bodied, and lightly sweet. Light smoke lingers in the finish. An odd one... not much going on, besides light smoke, vague sweetness, and fleeting spice.
N: Smoke! Get your smoke here! Get your smoke! P: Hits the tongue wet and oily, then one dimensional smoke. F: A little cinnamon. I always wondered why a 20 year old whiskey would be so cheap, I got my answer. There are some lovely BenRiachs out there, this is not one of them. Very average and forgettable.
