Member Ratings and Notes

The nose is malty with dry sherry and sulfur notes. The palate is dominated by sulfur, though not in an objectionable way. Behind them you can make out just a touch of fruit and sherry notes.  The palate is a bit diluted (maybe it's lost alcohol over time). The finish returns to sulfur and some spicy notes.

This is not what I expected from an old blended malt. It's got a lot of character. Tasting blind I would probably guess it was a Springbank or BenRiach. The only real flaw is that it tastes a bit diluted, but it's very nice.
