Surprisingly smokey, but then an almost port-like ripe sweetness emerges (and one I actually like).  Very tasty.

n: shoe stankin'

p:  Thin and dull.  Caramel. Very not tasty.

Ries

n: Wood and oiled leather with dried flowers.

t: Young, tasting of new make, quite sweet with a sour finish. More phenolic and oily with the peat showing over the standard fruity distillery style. Grilled red pepper, earthy oil, and vanilla char. Whole black peppercorn.

I am not superstitious, but I'm a little 'stitious.  [C+/C]

The nose has peat and flowers; the palate peat, grass and hay, the finish peat and clover.  It makes for a peaty little day.
