Nose: very spicy in a savory way, bay leaf, oregano

Palate: Wow, uniquely spicy, clove, ginger, allspice, Angostura bitters; sweet and spicy like gingerbread

Finish: Spicy

This is crazy spicy. It tastes like it has bitters already added to it, like an Old Fashioned in a bottle. It's fun to drink but really bizarre. It's hard for me to believe that this doesn't have additives. My guess would be there is sugar and maybe some kind of flavoring as well.

Cinnamony and a "mulled" sort of flavor. Pretty good stuff.

n:  mulling spices.  Great

p:  Potpouri, evergreen.  Very nice.

N: Spiced apple cider (yes, totally agreed with mulling spices!), pumpkin pie, nutmeg. Weird and different, but very nice.

P: Spicy, cinnamon, real bold medicinal quality. Pretty unique.

F: Hot and short - all the good aspects fall off.

Wish more bourbon had flavor profiles like this. That being said, there was something about it that just didn't seem mature (not age wise, but developed) - I guess it didn't seem balanced or something. The finish, of course, left much to be desired.

N: Initially vegetal, and minty, with some vanilla and then lots of wood and coconut.
P: Dry dry spice and coconut.
F: More coconut!
