N: A little chocolate

P: Chocolate comes on pretty strong - nutella like. But the peat is obviously still there, it's just more subtle than other Laphroaigs.

F: Has a peaty/phenol kick that I really like.

Really good. One of my favorites in the Laph lineup.

n: Hint of lemon and cinnammon.

p:  Lively.  Grapefruit and earth.  Actually a lot of earth.  Dagobah in a glass.  Drink it, I must.

B/B+

Fuji

N: Malt and wine dominate the nose. Some spice, restrained peat, iodine, and musty lemon water.

P: Thin and astringent. Stale watered down lemon tea.  Poor representation of Laphroaig peatiness.

F: Short finish that's salty and a bit spicy.

This just didnt have much going on and there was no vibrancy to the peat.

This stuff is medicinal and peaty through and through with some coastal elements coming through on the finish. This is textbook Laphroaig.

N: Rubber, hints of chocolate, musty socks, some real medicinal stuff going on.

P: Peat, soil, hints of orange peel.

F: Peat evaporates a bit too quick. Wish there was more here.
