Vanilla cupcakes and smoke in the nose. Heathery meadow.

Really nice palate. Oak is well-balanced against the smoke, and some of that vanilla-cakey thing is here from the nose. Dry ashes in the finish, cedary notes, lingers really pleasantly and not overwhelmingly.

A really nice, smokey malt that doesn't get tired.

N: Smells yellow and flowery.  Gingery peat and smoke then reveal themselves.

P: Delicate peat with floral notes, slightly thin but simple and good.
F: Quite dry, clean, with some lemon zest.
