A great malt! Rich sherried nose, very enticing and "purple," candied, floral. Toffee.

Palate is quite sweet, almost a rich candy sweetness that's full-flavored without being pushy. Sweet sherry flavors with some mild tobacco and leather stuff, even tastes a little flowery. I really like this a lot! That all melds into the finish where I find some minty, herbal surprises (marijuana even) that nicely contrast the palate. Great stuff that's very drinkable yet rich.   A-/B+
