You can tell it's Canadian right on the nose. It's got that soft grain smell, a bit of rye but not the intensity of an American straight rye and that damp grass aroma that practically sings O Canada. It's also got a bit of plastic or styrofoam in the aroma. The immediate taste is light and very sweet with some rubbing alcohol; the sweetness lingers and pretty much covers up any other flavors. It's neither complex nor very substantive, a sweet, light whisky with a number of off notes.

n: red plastic cup, grassy sweetness, freshly varnished wood, and heaps of vanilla frosting.

 

t: aspertame sweetness that tastes plastic and vanilla coffee creamer, and after a few sips, this is all I can taste. One note of artificial vanilla and powdered sugar and that's all I get to go with the alcohol. Tastes like it came from a lab; I'm not sure what the point of this is...
