This is a whisky that demands you wine and dine it before it puts out. But its worth it. With time exposed to air and to develop on the palate, its a very interesting and stimulating experience.
N: Fruity, berry tart, apple pie, smells so good.
P: Orange rind, creeal malt, currants, raisin and rum, butter. Slow at first then explodes with these flavors.
F: Currants. Dries out for a while. Then after a little time the tannic elements come out, some spice. Really keeps you contemplating what's going on. Will go under your radar if you don't pay attention.
N: Intense citrus. P: Big fruity profile with bananas and peaches. Oh yeah, I'm getting more into this type of profile. F: Gets a little spicy and vegetal, what a way to finish.
Ooh, this is all about really neat, fruity stuff all intertwined in a.... fruity adjective goes here.... with something approaching spicy. A really pleasant whisky, hard to describe but not to drink.
Nice spicey sweets and fruity tropical flavors. A really great nose with more spice than fruit on the pallate. Exactly how I like it. The finish has some heat and is medium. One of the better profiles.
Sweet, candied, fruity nose. A bit more mellow on the palate, some sherry, banana, oak, lots of vanilla, very smooth. Much longer finish than expected. Very good.
