Lots of brown sugar in the nose becomes a somewhat buttery glass with fall fruits and caramel, then lots of dried darker fruits, figs, etc. Certainly pleasing and tasty, though perhaps lacking a certain magic seen in previous releases. As most great bourbons do, this has more to reveal as the glass drains, and it becomes a sweet-enough bourbon with a great tannic chew lasting just long enough to wish it were longer.
