Nose is faint initially, but then some vanilla and oak emerge.  Inital flavor impact is chocolaty and rich and stays that way all the way through the finish.   Seems to fade quickly on the first few sips, but then gains some legs as you get further into the glass.   Very easy drinking but kind of a one-note-wonder.

Nose of toffee, with aspects that are earthy for a bourbon.  Palate is pretty full-flavored, again with earthy, slightly smokey hints not typically found in a bourbon.  Finish is very long.  This is closer to scotch in some ways -- maybe this has a high barley content?  I don't think so, but whatever.  It's pretty tasty bourbon with decent depth, and not overpriced.  I like it.

Nose: Brandy, corn syrup, light chocolate notes, grape juice

Palate: Pancake syrup (i.e. fake maple syrup), tastes a bit Canadian.

Finish: Vaguely sweet cardboard.

Not much to this one, overly sweet without much substance.

N: A bit thin. A little caramel and some light wood; black cherry touches; raw sugar center. Eventually becomes a little donutty with some powdered sugar.

P: Thin with some bitter wood, a touch of orange and sugary notes again. Kind of a raw ethanol vibe at moments.

F: A little alcohol and some bitter wood. Slight hints of root vegetables. White pepper. Musty.

Thin, light, not a lot going on. Pretty boring.

Light-medium amber. Some lighter sweetness and vanilla on the nose. On the palate I tasted a weird soap flavor that really turned me off. [1/27/13]
