N: More wood than the 10 and a little bit of sweet fruit.
P: The peat seems a bit more restrained here, offset by the wood.
F: Crisp, medium length.

I find this to be more accessible and balanced than the Laphroaig 10. Great peat but the wood shows, enjoyable, and should be a staple in most collections.

This is among the best scotch values available.

Smokey, musty nose. Palate is very smokey and mildly sweet, with a whole bunch of peat/earth/that stuff and some medicine. A peat treat and a good buy.

N: Stale bread, tea, minerals, with cinnamon gum

P: Tea, citrus and cherries

F: red licorice and peat

N: Very smokey - more so than 10yr

P: Bolder, more complex than 10 or 15

F: Lingered nice and long for me

Very nice, always a fan.
